Terms of use for the information service of ported numbers

Description of service

Information service of ported numbers is an Internet service provided by Suomen Numerot Numpac Oy. It is intended for use by private persons who want to find out the operator of a certain phone subscription.

• The service includes information on fixed-line and mobile phone numbers in Finland.
• Service information is almost real-time.

When using the service, the user selects the first part of the number in the drop-down menu and enters the rest of the number to the given field.

The operator of the phone number entered by the user is concluded in the service by comparing it to the ported numbers first. If the number entered is not found in the ported numbers, the operator is concluded based on the prefix of the number.

Terms of use

Information service of ported numbers is an open service, and user id and password are not required when using the service. The user agrees to use the service in accordance with the law and good practice. Using the service and / or connecting it as a part of an Internet or other application or service without a written agreement is forbidden. The user agrees to use the service to find out the operator of single phone numbers only.

If the user does not comply with these rules, Suomen Numerot Numpac Oy reserves the right to take necessary action to prevent any misuse of this service.

Suomen Numerot Numpac Oy reserves the right to change this service and these terms of use.

Suomen Numerot Numpac Oy does not guarantee the accuracy of the information of the service and shall have no liability whatsoever for any direct or indirect damages arising out of the use of the service and possibly erroneous and incomplete information.

Other terms and conditions

Information service of ported numbers is an Internet service, and the same limitations apply as apply to other Internet services. Concurrent users of the service and network load may have an effect on the accessibility and the usability of the service. Suomen Numerot Numpac Oy reserves the right to interrupt the service if necessary for the maintenance and modification work of the service.
